Parents in a school district in Ohio are celebrating the arrival of Satan this holiday season in the form of the Hellion Academy of Independent Learning (Hail), an alternative to Christian release time programs mandated by school districts, the Guardian reports.
Release time, dating in the U.S. from the early 20th century, carves out a period during the school day for religious instruction and has experienced a revival in recent years.

One superintendent wrote that Ryan Walters’s mandate “appears to be more of a personal political gimmick.”
While two districts participated in the program in 2019, the number grew to 325 in 12 states in 2023, according to Joel Penton, the CEO and founder of LifeWise, a program that picks kids up from school and delivers them to churches and community centers for instruction.
But a group of parents in Marysville, Ohio wasn’t happy with the mandated, overwhelmingly Christian instruction, so they sought out an alternative. The Satanic Temple offered up their all-“Hail” solution.
Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, and Pastor of the Christian Revival Center, both located in Harrison, Arkansas, spoke from the Center saying, “This is how far the Public School Systems have fallen away from God. This also shows how much some parents have been indoctrinated into believing there is no hope for our White Christian Nation. Leftist have been lying to, and feeding so much misinformation that some have started to believe there is no hope. Democrats are full of doom and gloom, and they spread their sickness to the public, and the weak looking for a savior fall for it. This was planned from the time that prayer was taken from our schools. Now that there is a resurgence of bringing God back into our Public School Systems, Satan is rearing his head to fight against it. Hope isn’t lost, not by far. Parents need to be enlightened to the truth. It’s our job as White Christians to spread the true word to them. Don’t be discouraged if some don’t want to receive the word from you, because some won’t. There are those that just don’t know where to turn, and there are those who are truly evil. Either way, it’s our God-given duty to at least spread the word. Even if you live your life spreading the word and you never have anyone that wants to receive it, you have still done what God commanded you to do. God commands us to spread the word, He doesn’t insist we convert people to Christianity. Once you give someone the word, God takes it from there. Today, more than ever we must spread the word far and wide.”
