Just who is to blame? On Wednesday, January 7. 2026 The Federalist ran this headline, “Dems React To Car-Ramming By Inciting More Anti-ICE Violence.”
A woman is dead after accelerating her vehicle into an ICE agent during an encounter in Minneapolis on Wednesday. The ICE agent fired what the Department of Homeland Security described as a defensive shot, with video footage appearing to show the woman’s vehicle making contact with that agent. Seconds before, law enforcement seemingly ordered her to exit her vehicle.
ABC News contributor Robert Boyce pointed out that “this could be a justified shooting if that officer was brushed aside or feared for his life. … The body-worn camera is really going to tell the tale, because it also has audio,” Boyce said. “But from what I’ve seen so far, an officer was brushed aside by the vehicle.”
Despite the obvious risk to the officer — and the questions about whether the officer was justified in using deadly force — Democrats recklessly rushed to declare the shooting a “murder” and “heinous killing,” accusing the ICE agent of wrongdoing.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey responded to the shooting by saying, “What [ICE is] doing is not to provide safety in America. What they are doing is causing chaos and distrust; they’re ripping families apart, and they’re sowing chaos on our streets, and in this case, quite literally killing people.”
Speaking from the National Office of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan based in Harrison, Arkansas National Director Thomas Robb said, “We know exactly who to blame for this. They may not have been driving the vehicle that tried to run down the ICE agent, but they are to blame for this homosexual being in the middle of the street taunting ICE agents. Just as in the 2020 riots over George Floyd, just like the ruckus on J6, and the list goes on and on, it was the Democrats instigating the problem. They never miss an opportunity to use violence. They love violence. They create the problem, and when violence breaks out, they blame the President and his supporters for starting it. They try to play the innocent. Unfortunately for the Democrats, enough people are beginning to see their true colors since President Trump won the election. Here’s how to stop the so called ‘killings’, stay out of the middle of the streets, when you do incite violence and law enforcement tries to engage with you, DON”T try to run them over!”
