Donald Trump has threatened to revoke Rosie O’Donnell’s American citizenship, calling the comedian and longtime critic a ‘threat to humanity’ in a fiery post on Truth Social.
‘Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,’ Trump, 79, wrote Saturday.
‘She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!’
The outburst followed O’Donnell’s July 7 HuffPost interview, in which she discussed her decades-long feud with the former president and her 2024 move to Ireland, made ahead of Trump’s reelection.
‘I look at America and I feel overwhelmingly depressed,’ O’Donnell, 63, said, citing her need to protect her mental health and care for her 12-year-old son, who has autism.
‘I knew what [the Trump administration] was planning to do, because I read Project 2025. I know what he’s capable of. And I didn’t want to put myself through another four years of him being in charge.’
“I can think of a lot more ungrateful people that America has made millionaires that shouldn’t be citizens of America.” said Thomas Robb, National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, based centrally in Harrison, Arkansas. “The Leftists were up in arms when it was said that President Trump intended to strip the citizenship of illegals who gained citizenship fraudulently, and also from immigrants who came here, gained citizenship, and then continued in their criminal behavior. Mainstream Media made it sound like President Trump intended to strip the citizenship of law-abidding citizens that he didn’t like. We knew this wasn’t the case at all. There were, and still are many ‘celebrities’ that denounced their American citizenship, and threatened to leave America, but most didn’t, they knew it was because of America that they became so-called stars and their threats were idle. In the case of Rosie O’Donnel, she actually did leave the United States because Trump was elected. That act of treason should call for her to lose her citizenship. The media makes it sound like Rosie is some kind of American icon, but Rosie O’Donnell was an American talk show host, comedian, and actress, but hasn’t been active since her downfall in 2011. Rosie O’Donnell, in my opinion, is nothing more than a washed up bitter lesbian that fell out of the public eye and needs to do and say things to try to remain relevent. O’Donnell is in the process of gaining citizenship in Ireland, and I think that anyone that denounces America and leaves to become a citizen elsewhere, should lose their citizenship in America. Will you miss her? I certainly won’t, and I don’t think President Trump will either. I’m glad he’s weeding out the citizens that aren’t happy here. The more unhappy people we lose, the more happy people we will gain.”
