Earthy reasons for not murdering children aren’t enough. On Sunday, December 28. 2025 Align Lifestyle by Blaze Media ran a piece headlined, “Why the pro-life movement fails without a Christian worldview.”
In the United States and other Western nations, pro-life organizations are the primary means through which conservative Christians oppose legalized abortion.
With their cultural engagement and legislative efforts, these pro-life groups and leaders purport to oppose the murder of preborn babies, ultimately desiring the complete end of abortion. But a simple examination of the worldviews held by these groups shows that many are not operating in a distinctly Christian fashion, even when they are led by professing Christians.
But even the pro-life groups that are convictionally Christian, or led by convictional Christians, often functionally set aside the Christian worldview.
The church through the ages, bearing the gospel of life, has been the means by which the deathly deeds of child sacrifice have been overturned in countless cultures. The dearth of a Christian worldview in the current anti-abortion movement should, therefore, be gravely concerning to any believer who likewise wants to see modern child sacrifice abolished.
Christianity teaches that humans are creatures made in the image of God with rational souls (Ecclesiastes 7:29), but that mankind fell in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:1-7) and became dead in sin (Ephesians 2:1-3). We, therefore, have a thoroughly corrupted nature by which we are innately inclined toward evil (Romans 3:10-18).
Thomas Robb, National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, and Pastor of the Christian Revival Center, both centrally located in Harrison, Arkansas spoke from his office, “In any Christian country, or at least in the United States where at the moment Christianity is the highest percentage of the people, when they hear from Non-Christian organizations against abortion of course they will agree with their message, but it’s not the same as hearing it from a fellow Christian that uses the Bible and God’s own word condemning abortion in the Old Testament clear through to the New Testament of Jesus preaching how prescious the life of the little children are and what the consequences of harming children will be. There’s a big difference in man saying you shouldn’t do something because it’s wrong, and a Christian explaining why God, not man says it’s wrong. In any Christian country the Bible should always be where you turn to prove your point because you will be reminding your fellow Christian of God’s word, and in turn that Christian will use your insight to pass it along to another fellow Christian. If we start using the Bible to solve all of our issues and problems in our majority Christian America, this will cause a White Christian Revival that is so desperately needed in America and in other European countries. Once this is done, God will forgive us our sins, and with God, we will never have to fear mortal man and his evil ways again.”
