Wednesday, November 11th, One America News reported, “Fla. Gov. DeSantis Proposes Expanded ‘Stand Your Ground’ Law Aimed At Looting.”
Governor Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) recently drafted new ‘anti-mob’ legislation aimed at cracking down on looters and violent rioters. The proposal expands the list of ‘forcible felonies’ under the state’s ‘stand your ground’ law.
This would now include people who “engage in criminal mischief, which results in the interruption or impairment of a business.” It would also include the act of looting, defined as “burglary within 500 feet of a violent or disorderly assembly.”
Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party, based in Harrison Arkansas said, “This would be good legislation to pass everywhere. With the thugs pushing a ‘defund the police’ agenda in America, White law abiding citizens need to feel safe. The thugs didn’t think we’d accept anarchy in America, did they?”
