Biden seems to think firearms are only for hunting, with this headline, “Biden demands gun control in State of Union address: ‘You think deer are wearing Kevlar?’”, from American Military News, posted on Tuesday, March 1st.
In his first State of the Union address on Tuesday night, President Joe Biden once again called for more gun control, including bans on “assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.”
“I will keep doing everything in my power to crack down on gun trafficking and ghost guns you can buy online and make at home—they have no serial numbers and can’t be traced,” Biden said in his address.
“I ask Congress to pass proven measures to reduce gun violence. Pass universal background checks. Why should anyone on a terrorist list be able to purchase a weapon? Why?” Biden continued.
“Ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines that hold up to 100 rounds. You think the deer are wearing Kevlar vests?” he said.
Second Amendment supporter, and National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, with it’s National Office located in Harrison, Arkansas, Thomas Robb was quoted as saying, “Many, including the President of the United States apparently think our Second Amendment was included as a right to hunt. This was not the intentions of our forefather’s adding the Second Amendment. The God-given right to own and bear arms was added as a way for American citizen’s to protect themselves against people trying to harm them, as well as to defend themselves against a tyrannical government that has turned against it’s citizen’s. So, by Joe Biden saying such an asine thing, I ask Joe Biden, ‘Is it deer that are turning on American citizens”?
