Step aside, the crazies are loose! On Monday, September 11th., The Blaze ran this headline, “Do you think the world is going to end?’ Climate protester who glued feet to the ground at US Open complains about psychiatric evaluation”.
A climate activist who was arrested after gluing his feet to the stands at the U.S. Open has argued that he was questioned as if he were in an “apocalyptic cult” in an attempt by authorities to “intimidate” and “paint a distorted picture” of him.
Shayok Mukhopadhyay was one of four climate activists who took part in an a disruption of the famous tennis tournament. Environmentalist group Extinction Rebellion claim ownership of the distraction.
During a women’s match between American Coco Gauff and Czech Karolina Muchová, a group of three activists began shouting and put a halt to the second set of the match. It would later be discovered that Mukhopadhyay had glued his feet to the concrete, which meant it took almost 50 minutes for authorities to get him into custody.
Gregory Schwedock, 35, and Mukhopadhyay, 50, were charged with criminal trespass for their participation, according to the Daily Wire. Both are from New York.
Mukhopadhyay was taken to East Elmhurst Hospital and given a psychiatric evaluation, PJ Media reported.
“When I look around today, I can hear in my head that novelty song, ‘They’re Coming to Take Me Away Ha Ha”, that was written in 1966 by Jerry Samuels, AKA Napoleon XIV.”, said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas. “Climate change is nothing more than fearmongering. In 1869,Telegraph service, instituted in Cincinnati, began collecting weather data and producing weather charts. That may seem like a long time, but in reality, thats only 154 years. The average lifespan in America as of 2019 is 79 years. So in someone’s lifetime nobody can truthfully say exactly what changes, if any at all are affecting our climate. All we hear about is record temperatures across America. The smily sunfaces on weather maps in the Summer have been replaced with these dark ominous red colors to give the impression that America is melting. In my lifetime, Summers have been hot, Autumn has been chilly, Winter has been cold, and Spring has been wet. Of course, some years are a little different than others, but that’s because of weather patterns, not climate change. Ask any Pennsylvanian that saw 2 week record lows of 30 below last winter what they think of global warming! The World will someday end, that’s a given, but that will come by God’s hand, not global warming”.
