According to two studies, Black Americans are more likely than Asians, whites, and Hispanics to report seeing racist news coverage.
A 2023 Pew Research Center survey on Black U.S. adults’ experiences with the media found “about four-in-ten Black Americans (39%) say they extremely or fairly often see or hear news coverage about Black people that is racist or racially insensitive,” the study states, noting that “(41%) say they sometimes see this kind of coverage.”

You don’t see articles where White criminals are harrassed by black police officers, but it happens. You also don’t see where non-compliant White criminals are shot and killed by black officers, and that also happens. You hardly ever see a news article where a black commits a racist hate crime against a White person, and that happens more often than a White commiting a racist hate crime against a black. Mainstream Media manipulates what the public sees, and by doing so, they manipulate the minds of American citizens. You can’t conduct an accurate study into news coverage when you have one-side news media reporting it.”
