More lies from our Commander-in-Chief! On Monday, May 20. 2024, The Daily Caller published this headline, “Biden Falsely Tells College Grads Cops Are Killing ‘Black Men’ In The Streets. The Truth In ‘24 Is Much More Tragic.”
President Joe Biden asked students at Morehouse College in Atlanta what the point of democracy is if cops are killing black men “in the street” during a Sunday commencement address, but a cursory review of police-involved shootings in 2024 showed Biden’s remarks were extremely misleading.
“You started college just as George Floyd was murdered and their was a reckoning on race. It’s not to the wonder, the democracy you hear about actually works for you. What is democracy if black men are being killed in the street?” Biden said.
Of the 74 black men who died as a result of a police shooting in 2024, only three were identified as being unarmed in The Washington Post’s database for tracking fatal police shootings in America.
“And the three unarmed black men were in the commission of committing a crime. Guess what? Don’t do anything illegal, and the cops won’t confront you!”, said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas. “Thanks to the Mainstream Media, we only see when a black person is killed by the police. And most of the time, it’s done to protect citizens, as well as the officer him/herself. I go by the facts, not the narrative the Mainstream Media pushes, and the facts are, since 2016, up to today, 2024, there have been more White people killed by law enforcement than black. I’m not sure how far back the statistics go, but for the last 9 years, this is a fact. The difference between White and black police killings is this, being of some intelligence, White people realize that if they try to grab an officers tazer, or sidearm, there’s a high probability you’re going to be shot dead by the officer. If a White person tries to run down an officer trying to escape, we know there’s also a high probability we will be shot dead by the officer. Now when you’re dealing with blacks, it’s almost as if they can not be taught that their actions will cause their consequences. Until everyone, of every race, learns that their actions will determine if an officer shoots them, the narrative that blacks are hunted down like dogs and killed by law enforcement will go on. It doesn’t help either when our government pushes this same lie.”
