Meanwhile….A homosexual newsource, IntoMore.com, on Friday July 26. 2024 ran with this headline, “Trans folks are asking: Can the trans flag double as the American flag?”
If you’re trans, it can feel difficult to feel great or even good about being an American. As citizens of a country that’s so deeply opposed to our having fundamental human rights, we might be forgiven for not feeling a soul connection to the stars and stripes forever, much like everyone else here who isn’t a cis straight white man.
However, some trans folks are rethinking their commitment to patriotism after an intriguing Twitter post started making the rounds on Reddit.
The original post—a response to a post by the Wholesome Memes account from June last year—pointed out something quite interesting about the specifications of the American flag. And now, we’re wondering if we can use this to our advantage.
So is this true? Well, mostly. “Ah not quite,” one poster explained. “IIRC there can only be one blue field. You gotta connect the blue somehow.”
But that’s solved easily enough, as another poster soon pointed out. “Just have a tiny little stripe run down the side to connect them,” they wrote. “The only thin blue line I support,” another poster gleefully commented.
“This is an abomination!” said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas. “This is how small problems grow into bigger problems. Like many, I thought this homosexual phase was a fad. It didn’t take long though to see that while some played into the idea that a homosexual was the ‘cool’ thing to be, that the cancer grew. After awhile, some people just tuned out to what was happening and were easily mislead by our government and Mainstream Media. While some were hunting bigfoot, or watching the sky for little green men, the LGBTQP+ movement was advancing their agenda. I honestly think that there are some that are so mesmerized by what our government and Mainstream Media is telling them that they don’t see what is actually happening in real life. I believe that if some were witnessing a horrendous crime against a child, and someone yelled, ‘Look, it’s a UFO’, the person’s attention would be drawn towards the sky and not the child. By ignoring what was, and still is happening, this has emboldened the LGBTQP+ movement to suggest our American flag be disgraced by homosexuals. America is a White Christian country, but where is the White Christians that should be fighting to keep it that way. I go by what God says, not what our government says. Don’t forget, our government is supposed to be working for us, and the majority of American citizens are saying NO to the LGBTQP+ agenda.”
