Education? Meh, who needs it. On Saturday November 9. 2024, The New York Post ran this headline, “NY school brass are set to let even unprepared kids graduate high school.”
They’re really going to do it — scrap the Regents exams that have been a staple of New York education for more than a century and a half.
On Monday, the State Education Department presented its timeline for ditching the exams; the Board of Regents is now expected to green-light it.
The plan is to simply award “diplomas” to all students, whether they’ve learned enough to function beyond high school or not.
It’s great news for public-school insiders, who’ll finally be relieved of any remaining pressure to see that students get the education they’re owed.
The kids, on the other hand, get screwed.
“If this trend keeps up, in a couple of decades we will have ‘dumbies ruling over dummies.” said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas. “A year or so ago in California, math all of the sudden was racist. Teachers were told to grade students by race. In other words, say the teacher asks the class what 2+2 equals. If little White Sandy raises her hand and says 2+2 equals 4, which is the correct answer, but if little Toby, being black, raises his hand and says 2+2 equals ‘dis many’ holding up three fingers, because he is black his answer is also correct. Maybe I see things differently than some people, but I see a future where everyone is dumbies. Here’s the facts, the average IQ within the black race is 70. 70 is borderline retarded. If the school systems try to make everyone look smart by grading by race, soon even White people will have an average IQ of 70. Why would White children bust their behinds to get good grades when they’re not recognized for their efforts. Is this really the future we want for America?”
