Fired for being proud to be American? Yep, according to this article released on Saturday, September 28. 2024 from Latin Times, headlined, “Colorado School Accused of Firing Teacher for ‘Racist Undertones’ After He Called US ‘the Greatest Country in the World’.”
According to America First Legal (AFL), which filed the lawsuit, this all began in January when their client made comments at a mandatory training program that did not sit well with others.
Attendees were asked to discuss what it meant for them to “be white” and how they identified.
Patrick Hogarty, who at the time was Dean of Students at Campus Middle School in the Cherry Creek School District in Aurora, Colorado, “responded by stating he identifies as an American and believes the United States is the greatest country in the world.”
According to AFL, Hogarty was under the impression that anything he said during the training would be kept confidential and would not interfere with his job. Despite this, AFL states, the school district’s Equity Director reported what he said to the principal, allegedly accusing Hogarty of expressing “racist undertones.”
In March, Hogarty was let go due to “budgetary reason,” which the AFL says contradicts “district records showing increased staffing” for the same year.
“Anything that has to do with America’s culture, history, or founding has become racist if you’re proud of it.”, said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas. “This is a perfect example of why children today hate America and their White history. Teachers are being conditioned to indoctrinate children, not educate them. Recently in Florida, a teacher was fired for giving students who didn’t turn in their homework a zero. More recently, teachers in Chicago were told to pass the migrant children no matter how they scored on tests. We are already seeing the results of the indoctrination. Look at the teachers, they were indoctrinated themselves, and now they are passing that indoctrination onto America’s youth. If look around and see just how bad things are today, imagine what it’s going to be like in 20 years from now. How would you like to have to go school in America and be the minority if you’re White? Why do you think these Third World children are being passed no matter what their grades are? These kids will someday be adults. Once that happens, if you’re White, you’ll have a target on your back.”
