A loving Arkansas father who killed a man he discovered in a car with his 14-year-old daughter last year is taking an incredibly bold step to right the justice system.
As 40/29 News reported, Lonoke County resident Aaron Spencer announced Friday night that he was running for sheriff. The announcement was made on his campaign’s Facebook page.
As TGP’s Brian Lupo previously reported, Spencer called the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Department on October 8, 2024, to report his missing 14-year-old daughter.
While deputies were en route to his home, Spencer called back around 1:12 am to inform dispatch that he had found his daughter in a truck with Michael Fosler, a 67-year-old man.
After pursuing Fosler, there was a vehicle crash, at which point an altercation allegedly ensued. Spencer shot Fosler during the altercation.
Fosler had previously been arrested and booked in July by another agency for internet stalking of a child and sexual assault, according to Lonoke County Sheriff John Staley.
“He was [a]waiting 6-9 felonies for what he did…He was looking at the rest of his pathetic life in jail, and our daughter was the only witness.”
Fosler at the time faced OVER 40 child sex crime charges involving Spencer’s daughter, according to 5 News online.
Speaking from his National Office in Harrison, Arkansas, Thomas Robb, National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, said, “Sure, I would vote for him. I feel in this case that the father was protecting not only his daughter, but the daughters of anyone that this perverted child molester came in contact with. Many times we see the system fail these young victims. It’s a revolving door for child molesters. They get light sentences, they can’t be rehabilitated, and they are put back out on streets to harm another child. In my opinion, child molestation should be a death penalty case. These perverts ruin the lives of these kids, and then get released back into society. Imagine how a child feels when there predators are released. Many probably feel that somehow it was their fault they were molested. Why wouldn’t they, after all the judicial system claims they have paid their debt to society, but did they really? A couple years in prison for ruining a childs life? Before you judge this father ask yourself what you would in this instance, and be honest with yourself.”
