The news outlet TMZ, on Sunday August 16th, posted the headline, “Black Lives Matter Protester Arrested By Armed, Plainclothes Cops in Unmarked Van.”
This is scary … a Black Lives Matter protester in Pittsburgh was grabbed by armed men in civilian clothes and yanked into an unmarked van … and turns out they were cops.
Matthew Cartier was allegedly blocking traffic during the protest and refused commands by officers to clear a path for cars. They say he left but came back and did it again.
Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party, based in Harrison Arkansas said, “What’s so scary about this? There has always been plain clothes police officers, and unmarked law enforcement vehicles. If you’re standing in the middle of the road committing unlawful acts, and armed men grab you and put you in a vehicle, even the most uneducated person should be able to figure out they’re being arrested.”
