Shellsburg, a small community of a little over 300 people in Bedford County Pennsylvania was rocked by gunfire last night.
State Police provided a brief update Tuesday morning just before noon.
Troopers say early information indicates there was an incident between the group of activists and two area residents.
Troopers say gunfire was exchanged between an activist and a resident and one of the activists was struck.
Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, based in Harrison Arkansas, said, “The Knights Party in no way condones random acts of violence, but these thugs have been throwing threats out on Facebook for months, threatening rural America and it’s citizens. Just as happened in Harrison and Zinc Arkansas a few weeks ago, rural America isn’t the place for these city thugs to threaten.
