Unfortnately, America has lost yet another good law enforcement officer over a blacks choice not to comply with orders. Yesterday, April 15th, the Associated Press published this headline, “Former Minnesota cop charged in shooting of Black motorist.”
A prosecutor said Wednesday that he charged a white former suburban Minneapolis police officer with second-degree manslaughter for killing 20-year-old Black motorist Daunte Wright in a shooting that ignited days of unrest and clashes between protesters and police.
The charge against former Brooklyn Center police Officer Kim Potter was filed Wednesday, three days after Wright was killed during a traffic stop and as the nearby murder trial progresses for the ex-officer charged with killing George Floyd last May, Washington County Attorney Pete Orput said.
National Director of the Knights Party, based in Harrison Arkansas, Thomas Robb said, “This is becoming a common occurence within law enforcement. These brave men and women are doing their jobs of protecting and serving our citizens, while happening upon a criminal non-white, which as usual, won’t comply, or decides to resist, and they cause their own fate. In this case, yes, this officer made a mistake by pulling her firearm thinking it was her taser, but it was just that, a mistake. This officer wouldn’t have made this mistake if this thug would’ve complied, so who’s at fault? I, like many, say it was Daunte Wright’s fault for putting this officer in the position he did. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, ‘play stupid games…win stupid prizes?’ As in most cases with non-whites encountering law enforcement, this thug chose his own prize with his actions.”
