Would someone please tell Ilhan Omar that she’s residing in a White Christian country? Breitbart News on Monday, April 18th, published this headline, “Ilhan Omar Accused of ‘Christianophobia’ over Viral Air Prayer Clip Remarks.”
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) suffered backlash online, with some accusing the congresswoman of anti-Christian sentiment, in response to her remarks over a video of passengers singing Christian music on a plane.
In the now-viral video, captioned “Worshipping Jesus 30,000 feet in the air,” passengers are seen singing a popular Christian worship song from within an airliner, though its full context is unclear.
The Minnesota Muslim congresswoman, responding to the clip, wrote: “I think my family and I should have a prayer session next time I am on a plane. How do you think it will end?”
The National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, Thomas Robb, spoke about this from his centrally based office in Harrison, Arkansas saying, “This is a perfect example of why non-whites should not be permently residing in America, let alone being a part of our nation’s government. You should be asking yourself why a muslim, who by nature hates Christians, would want to occupy any position in our government. Our forefathers strictly forbade any non-white to hold any kind of office in our White, Christian nation, and just for this reason. How many non-white countries do you think have White people governing over them? They don’t share our culture, heritage, history, religion, values, and most importantly, they hate us for who we are. This should really worry American’s. The fact that we have people ruling over, and making laws for us, who prove time and time again that they hate us.”
