Recently, The Teal Tango published an article headlined, “Kanye West Claims George Floyd Died of Fentanyl Use, Says He Wasn’t Suffocated by Police Officer“. Is Kanye being truthful, or is he just saying that trying to win White people over?
“Another day, another bizarre statement by Kanye West. The rapper, who has been in the news for quite some time now for his controversial statements against ‘Black Lives Matter’, has now disregarded the very incident that started the public movement two years back.
In a recent interview, Kanye said that George Floyd did not die due to being suffocated by a police officer’s knee, instead, the usage of fentanyl caused his death. The fashion designer has apparently made this opinion after watching Candace Owens’ documentary on Black Lives Matter.
Ye was in an interview with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN on their podcast Drink Champs when he made the statement, “I watched the George Floyd documentary that Candace Owens put out. One of the things that his two roommates said was they want a tall guy like me, and the day that he died, he said a prayer for eight minutes.”
Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas said, “I believe Kanye West is speaking out loud, what most blacks already know, yet won’t admit. I also saw recently there was a big uproar when Kanye wore a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt out in public. This also is something that I believe most blacks know, but won’t admit to. Without the blessings of white people, blacks in America would be in the same living conditions of those blacks that live in Africa with starvation, no health care and no education”.
