Sinful for who? Deadline Hollywood, on Monday, March 13th., published this headline, “Joe Biden Says In ‘Daily Show’ Interview That Florida’s Targeting Of Transgender Youth Is “Close To Sinful”.
Joe Biden sits down with Kal Penn for tonight’s episode of The Daily Show, and in one early clip, the president talks of Florida lawmakers’ attacks on the transgender community.
Speaking of transgender kids, Biden said, “What’s going on in Florida is, as my mother would say, close to sinful. It is just terrible what they are doing. It’s not like a kid wakes up one morning and says, ‘You know, I decided I want to become a man or I want to become a woman or I want to change. I mean, what are they thinking about here. They are human beings. They love. They have feelings. They have inclinations that are …it just to me, is, I don’t know is, it’s cruel.”
Biden said the response should be passing legislation like Congress did last year, which solidified federal recognition of same-sex marriage rights.
Florida medical boards, with the support of Governor Ron DeSantis, have banned gender affirming care for minors. Lawmakers also have proposed legislation that would require teachers matching a child’s sex at birth.
The National Director, and Pastor of the Christian Revival Center, both centrally located in Harrison, Arkansas, Thomas Robb spoke saying, “Never do I recollect a leader of any country come out on public television, and support the sexual mutilation of children, like Joe Biden does. His mannerisms around children that visit the White House, or he meets when out speaking are questionalable at best. Not only does Joe Biden fit the stereotype of the ‘creepy old man’ driving around in a panel van with a bag of candy, but he publicly promotes this stereotype! I have said many times before, if White, Christian Americans do not repent for turning their backs on God, by ignoring these things and letting our God-given country turn into a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, we don’t stand a chance. Our battle against the Satanic Rebellion is big enough, let alone having a so-called leader of our White, Christian country advocating for the very things that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for. I sometimes think when I look at our once great Nation, that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah would have rejected some of the things happening in America.”
