On Friday, May 19th., The New York Post ran this headline, “Al Sharpton’s racial incitement back on full display in subway case“.
It was just like the old days: As New York wrestles with a race-tinged tragedy, Al Sharpton sends a nastygram.
The one-time portly pastor, now whippet-thin but as full of it as ever, stepped into a borrowed pulpit at Harlem’s Mount Neboh Baptist Church on Friday — and promptly stirred the same old pot.
Sharpton had been invited to eulogize Jordan Neely, a severely troubled, often violent vagrant who died May 1 while restrained in a chokehold applied by fellow subway passenger Daniel Penny.
Neely was black and Penny is white — and that’s all Al needed.
Out tumbled the usual blizzard of words, and some even made sense. Certainly he wasn’t wrong to call out New York’s enduring failure to address mental-health issues.
But his time-tested, thoroughly predictable and impossible-to-miss core message resided in these two sentences:
“When they choked Jordan, they put their arms around all of us.
“All of us have the right to live.”
“Al Sharpton is one of the most racist black men in America”, said the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas, Thomas Robb. ” Al Sharpton is a lunatic, such is most any black leader of a black organization. We as White people, in our own White country are called racist for this, or racist for that, but in reality, by far, there are more black racists than White. I compare Al Sharpton to Charles Manson. Some may not know this, but Charles Manson never killed anyone. He had his followers do it. Just as Al Sharpton has probably never killed anyone, but the riots that he incites across America, causes the deaths of many White people. Al Sharpton, every time he opens his mouth, it’s as if he is trying to incite a racial war, which of course, when your people are only 13% of America’s population, that’s plenty stupid. Which I personally have never thought of Al Sharpton as anything but. Another thing that reminds me how Al Sharpton and Charles Manson shared the same goals, is that in July and August of 1969, when the Manson family were committing their murders under the direction of Charles Manson, some may not know this, but Charles Manson was trying to incite a racial war. He had one of his followers take a victim’s wallet and place it in the bathroom of a gas station in a black neighborhood. Manson figured if a White murder victims wallet was found in a predominantly black neighborhood, it would spark ‘Whitey’, as Manson referred to us, to rise up against the blacks, which in turn would domino effect across America. This is exaclty what Al Sharpton is doing! One man died in prison, the other lunatic stills walks freely.”
