Uh oh, no more race card privileges, now what? Recently, The Sacramento Observer ran this headline, “Republican State Attorneys General Warn CEOs of the legal consequences of considering race in Hiring Practices“.
Thirteen Republican state attorneys general have sent a cautionary letter to the CEOs of the 100 largest U.S. companies, highlighting the potential legal ramifications of using race as a factor in employment practices.
The letter follows the recent Supreme Court ruling striking down affirmative action in higher education.
It has stoked fears that the court’s ruling will extend to corporate America.
“Racial discrimination in employment and contracting is all too common among Fortune 100 companies and other large businesses,” the attorneys general wrote in the July 13 letter to the CEOs of Fortune 100 companies.
“In an inversion of the odious discriminatory practices of the distant past, today’s major companies adopt explicitly race-based initiatives which are similarly illegal.”
“Instead of pulling the Race Card, minorities should be studying hard to get a good Report Card”, said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas. “Affirmative Action ending in colleges is a major win. Let’s hope corporate America is next. Sometimes we have to use common sense to see the big picture. Affirmative Action limited White students gaining a college education because minorities were considered first. You would think that common sense would tell you that trying to educate lower IQ students, while keeping the higher IQ students from achieveing their maximium potential will eventual destroy a civilized society. Likewise, Affirmative Action in the corporate world, hiring the lower IQ college graduates, because the higher IQ student were not able to attend college because of Affirmative Action, common sense again should tell you that eventually our society will collapse because we have a lower IQ people in our workforce. Some people may call me racist for this ideology, and for those people that do, I’ll break it down that they can understand. All because of race, America is graduating ‘dummies’, which in turn, is turning out ‘dummies’ into our workforce. Intelligent, White, Christian men and women built America, and it was those people, our people, God’s chosen, that make America the super power it once was. Affirmative Action is one of many things that weakened America into the shape it’s in today.”
