A Colorado man who attacked a Capitol Police officer with a wooden plank during the Jan. 6 riots was sentenced to nearly three years in prison on Friday, the Justice Department announced.
Jacob Clark was found guilty in January of obstruction of an official proceeding, in addition to multiple misdemeanors for his participation in the riots.
He was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison.
Prosecutors said that Clark anticipated and looked forward to violence in the days and weeks leading up to Jan. 6, calling it a “revolt” and remarking that he wanted to “be a part of history.”
During the riots, Clark claimed that he was one of the first people to break down a door and enter the Capitol Building, and later, the Senate chamber.
While inside the building, Clark clashed with Capitol Police, which included hitting an officer over the head with a 2×4 wood plank, prosecutors said.
“This is one of the reasons the Knights Party doesn’t publicaly rally anymore”, said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas. “There are other reasons, but this article is dealing with just the one reason we no longer rally. January 6. 2021 was not a riot. At least that wasn’t the plan. It is well known that there were federal ‘plants’ among the protesters that day that instigated the actions of many. This was a plan to take out as many proud American patriots as possible at a single gathering. When we rallied years ago, the crowds that would show up were not violent. Many supported our cause. But once you added the instigators into the crowd, groups such as Antifa, things could get pretty crazy. Back then, times were different, we had more free speech. Today, our government fears organizations like the Knights Party because we are intelligent, we have a plan, and that plan is in motion as I speak. We are not violent, we’re level headed, and that scares our government. Our government was scared as hell on January 6. 2021 because they knew peaceful protesters were coming in mass to protest the stolen election. Their counter was to insert federal ‘plants’ into the crowd to instigate a violent action. One they could use to wipe out many of our like-minded people as they could, and it worked. Our people have to be very careful of how they present themselves because we are being watched. Non-violent, intelligent people have a target on their backs because we plan our steps, we stick to our mission, and we’re not side-tracked by the ‘smokescreen’ our goernment uses as cover to hide their dirty deeds. Use your heads, stay one step ahead. January 6. 2021 should show you just how low our government will stoop to take us out of the game. Our government can change peaceful into violent in a heartbeat”.
