To some, this doesn’t matter. The Blaze, on Tuesday, February 13th., ran this headline, “NFL, MLB, NCAA join alliance of sports leagues asking Congress to re-enact gun contol measures.”
Nearly every major sports league in the United States signed a letter addressed to Senate and House leaders, requesting the reauthorization of specific gun control measures.
The January 2024 letter was revealed by the Gun Owners of America organization through an op-ed in ZeroHedge, which presented the letter signed by executives from the NFL, NHL, MLB, NCAA, NBA, NASCAR, and Major League Soccer.
The only notably large sports organization missing from the list appeared to be the UFC, which typically does not take political stances.
The letter was addressed to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.).
In it, the sports executives asked for the Undetectable Firearms Act to be reauthorized. The law, first enacted in 1988, makes it illegal for an unlicensed importer, manufacturer, or dealer to possess a firearm that is undetectable by a metal detector or “x-ray machines commonly used at airports.”
Furthermore, a person cannot possess a firearm that “does not generate an image that accurately depicts the shape of the component.”
“I’m pretty sure our forefathers didn’t intend on all these restrictions”, said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas. “It shoudn’t matter what a firearm is made of, and it shouldn’t matter who makes it. As long as you as a White, law abiding citizen can protect yourself, your family, and your neighbor with it, I see no problem. It’s none of our governments business as to what common citizens have to protect themselves. It doesn’t suprize me that almost every professional sport supports this. What does surprize me though is how many ‘weekday warriors’ support these sport teams and players when they can clearly see that almost every one of them have an Anti-America, and Anti-White agenda. What I mean by a ‘weekday warrior’ is I see all these supposed White people within our movement that are Pro-White, and Pro-America Monday thru Friday afternoon, but then on the weekend, they support these professional sports teams and players that hate America and our White race! If you buy a ticket to a game, you’re supporting the erasure of the White race, if you buy your favorite team members jersey to wear on the weekend to sit in front of the TV, eating pizza and drinking beer, you’re supporting those who hate us because we’re White, and even just watching these games on TV isn’t innocent, because you are still supporting the destruction of America and our White race by giving these television stations and channels high viewership ratings. Don’t tell me you’re a White Nationalist if you’re that weak to turn your TV off. There are many weekend activities that you can do with your families to support America, and our race. Fighting for America, and our race is a 7 day a week job. What I’m saying is, is be careful what you’re fighting for. It may not always be what you think it is.”
