Witchcraft in our schools? Yes folks, it is. On Wednesday, October 22. 2025 The Federalist published this headline, “Public Schools Can’t Prohibit Prayer And Promote Witchcraft.”
When a public high school in Orange County, Florida, aired a weekly “Witchy Wednesday” religious video series on the schoolwide TV system, led by students and featuring detailed instructions on casting spells and performing rituals, including soul cleansing and moon worship, many parents were stunned.
The school canceled the series after public outcry and intervention from Liberty Counsel, in which the legal group asked for equal time for Christian instruction. But the larger question remains: Why would a public school introduce spiritual practices rooted in witchcraft to impressionable young students, and what does this reveal about the direction of public education?
A Double Standard on Religion
The U.S. Constitution forbids government-established religion through the establishment clause of the First Amendment. Yet the same public schools that prohibit students from praying before class or mentioning Jesus in a valedictorian speech are now permitting, and in some cases promoting, pagan spirituality under the guise of “student expression” or “cultural inclusion.”
Witchy Wednesday is where the court case Mahmoud v. Taylor becomes relevant.
In that 2025 federal case, the court reaffirmed that schools cannot compel students to participate in, observe, or be exposed to religious exercises that violate their beliefs. The ruling underscored the constitutional boundary between religious neutrality and endorsement. Suppose Christian prayer at school events is considered an endorsement. How much more should a video series that not merely promotes but gives specific instructions on how to cast various spells, magic acts, and rituals raise constitutional alarms?
“Where are the parents that this type of blasphemy is even considered in public schools?” said Thomas Robb, National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, and Pastor at the Christian Revival Center both centrally located in Harrison, Arkansas. “We see Satan worshipping clubs in schools, Witchcraft clubs, and all these other deviant clubs popping up in public schools across America. This is how far the public school systems have fallen into decay. Not just decay, but an evil satanic rebellion, in a White Christian country. I can’t believe there can be that large of a percentage of parents who agree with these types of clubs in their childrens schools. Parents need to be more vigilant when it comes to things within the schools that there children attend. America is a White Christian country and it’s about time for parents and White citizens to stand up and say that this is enough. Silent parents are to blame, so if you don’t want your children exposed to these types of clubs in their school, you had better stand up and use your voices before it’s too late. Do we really want children graduating and going out into the world as satanist? Or worse yet, becoming government officials. We already have a multicultural government with about one or two of each non-white race, non-christian attitude, and homosexual as well! Is this really what you want for our future, you childrens future, and even your grandchildren’s future. Wake up, because your silence is creating tomorrow’s future.”
