National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) scores show that American students recently earned their lowest marks in decades in reading and math. Despite the precipitous decline in academic performance, donor organizations are still pouring millions into pushing ethnic studies programs and woke teacher trainings.
Nicole Nealy, the president of watchdog group Parents Defending Education, spoke to Daily Wire podcast Morning Wire this week about the left-wing effort to effectively indoctrinate students and neglect academics.
Recent NAEP scores, according to Nealy, showed the lowest reading marks in the test’s history for eighth graders.
“These scores are really showing and highlighting that our children are not performing well,” she said. “They’re not thriving; they don’t have the skills to succeed in a global economy.”
Parents are sending their kids to school for seven or eight hours a day and rightly expect them to master the basics, like reading, writing, mathematics, and science, Nealy explained.
But that’s not what’s happening.
“For children to learn reading and math, they first need to be taught reading and math. Why is that so hard for people to figure out?” said Thomas Robb, National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, based centrally in Harrison, Arkansas. “Some things you just can’t make equal, and because it’s impossible, that doesn’t make it racist. The idea of dumbing down America’s White children to produce the illusion that non-whites are equal to Whites academically is not only absurd, but it endangers America’s future. For instance, when you look around at all the things you own, most was inventented by White people. What will happen when White children are being forced to be as academically challenged as non-white children? America will become a third world country as are most non-white countries. I don’t know why this is so hard for some to figure out. We’re called racists because we as Whites flourish where most non-whites can’t. I don’t know why that is, God designed us that way. Is God then racist? Here’s something to think about, blacks claim that they were created first. If this is so, and I believe it is, then why was it when God was looking for a mate for Adam there were none found worthy? This not only proves that God was against miscegenation, but also He had to create another White woman smart enough to help tend a garden. Was that racist of God?”
