This should have the Jews shaking in their boots…On Wednesday, April 8. 2026 Tampa Free Press published an article headlined, “U.S. Public Opinion Hits Record Lows For Israel And Netanyahu Amid Regional Conflict.”
A new Pew Research Center report released this week shows a significant downturn in how Americans view Israel and its leadership. According to the data, 60% of U.S. adults now hold an unfavorable view of the country, a sharp rise from 53% just one year ago. This shift comes as the region remains a central focus of U.S. foreign policy and military involvement.
The survey, which reached 3,507 adults between March 23 and 29, 2026, also highlights a growing distrust of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Nearly six-in-ten Americans (59%) say they have little or no confidence in Netanyahu’s ability to handle world affairs. This represents a 7-point increase in distrust since 2025 and a nearly 20-point jump since 2023.
The decline in approval is particularly visible among younger citizens. For the first time, majorities of adults under age 50 in both the Democratic and Republican parties rate Israel and Netanyahu negatively. Among Republicans specifically, those under 50 have shifted toward an unfavorable view (57%), even as older Republicans maintain a mostly positive outlook.
The partisan divide remains stark, however. Eight-in-ten Democrats now view Israel unfavorably, compared to 41% of Republicans. Religious identity also plays a major role in these perceptions.
“If I was to come out and say that a lot of people in America are getting fed up with Jews involving us in their wars I’d be called antisemite.” said National Director Thomas Robb, of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas with members throughout the United States. “I guess it’s ok to say the American ‘opinion of Israel’ is low, we just can’t name the Jew in general. I don’t think it has anything to do with who the leader of Israel is, I believe it has more to do with the Jews in Israel expecting our brave men and women to go fight their wars for them. We got caught up in a conflict with Iran why? Because Israel involved us their war, not ours. This allegiance America has with Israel is based on false doctrine. Jews have been kicked out of 109 other countries for a reason, and America needs to make it 110, and more people are starting to gain this ‘opinion of Israel’. There, did I say that correctly?”
