Back in October of 2019, The Blaze ran a story about a divorced couple in Texas, Jeffery Younger and Anne Georgulas, in which Georgulas was given sole conservatorship and was giving her son James puberty blocking hormones in order to transition James into a female. In November, a transgender flag was flown over the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines causing an ire reaction from citizens throughout the state.
