Knights Party Press Release: July 27. 2020

On Saturday July 24th, The Blaze ran this headline, “Three armed protesters accidentally shot by their own militia member during Louisville demonstrations.”

Three people were shot during a protest in Louisville, Ky., on Saturday. The demonstrators were accidentally shot by a member of their own militia group.

Shortly before 1 p.m., there was a shooting near Baxter Square Park in Louisville. Reportedly, the firearm of a protester accidentally discharged, and three individuals were injured. All three victims were transported to the University of Louisville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Louisville Metro Police Chief Robert Schroeder.

Thomas Robb, National Director of the Knights Party based in Harrison Arkansas said, “Here’s why we have so many anti-gun lobbyists in America. Here’s a group that call themselves a militia. You would think they would be educated enough to at least be able to handle any firearm they’re carrying, but when you shoot not just one, but three of your own militia members, it makes you look like maybe you’re better suited to carry a slingshot.”
