The Christian Broadcasting Network on Saurday, February 20th, posted this headline, “Utah ‘Equity’ Book Program Halted After Backlash Over Teacher Reading Trans Book to Third-Graders.”
A school district in Utah suspended its “equity” book program after receiving backlash from parents whose third-grade children said a teacher read a book about transgenderism in the classroom without first seeking parental consent.
The teacher at Horizon Elementary School read the book “Call Me Max” after a student brought the book to the class and asked for it to be read aloud, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.
The National Director of the Knights Party, based in Harrison Arkansas, Thomas Robb said, “This is unacceptable that public school systems in America are deciding what to indoctrinate our youth with, and parents are being intentionally not made aware of it. Luckily, in this case, some good moral Christian based parents caught wind of this, but how many schools are doing this and parents are unaware of it? Myself, I’m a firm believer in home schooling. You as White, moral, Christian parents should be home schooling your children. Covid-19 school closures across the country have shown you that you can do it.
