We’re closed!… hopefully! According to this headline from Fox News, posted Monday, September 20th, “Mayorkas warns Haitian migrants not to attempt journey to US, mass expulsion begins.”
Alejandro Mayorkas, the head of the Department of Homeland Security, warned Haitian migrants against attempting a voyage to the US as more 12,000 migrants were camped around a bridge in Del Rio, Texas.
“We are very concerned that Haitians that are taking the irregular migration path are receiving misinformation—that the border is open or that Temporary Protected Status is available to them despite the fact they are arriving long after the date that presents the deadline for TPS eligibility,” Mayorkas told journalists during a conference call, the Miami Herald reported. “This is not the way to come to the United States.”
The U.S. aims to expel many of the migrants camped around a bridge in Del Rio, a report said. “These non-white people migrating to the United States must be coming from countries that don’t have news sources to warn them of the dangers that await them in America”, Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party, based in Harrison, Arkansas said.
Robb continued, “It amazes me that White American’s are told daily how racist they are, how privileged they are, how oppressed they keep the non-whites in our country, how non-whites aren’t given equal opportunities, yet these non-whites keep illegally flooding our country! Haven’t they heard how badly they’ll be treated? Or is this maybe just propaganda to push ‘White guilt’ down your throat”?
