This is something that shouldn’t even be an issue in a Christian country, but it is. This headline from The Daily Signal, “Protecting Imprisoned Women From Men Who Say They’re Women“, was published on Friday, April 29th.
A male inmate housed in a women’s facility at New York’s Rikers Island jail has been sentenced to seven years for raping a female prisoner.
In an apparent plea deal, Ramel Blount, 33, who goes by Diamond Blount, pleaded guilty to attempted rape.
Blount was housed in the female section of Rikers Island in February 2021, when a 33-year-old female inmate said she was raped in a bathroom after taking a shower.
On top of the seven-year sentence announced Monday, Blount must register as a sex offender.
It’s true that Rikers Island is notorious for being unusually violent, and that violence escalated in 2021. But this particular sexual assault may not have happened if facilities that house criminals did so based on biological sex, not the gender with which they criminals presumably identify. A female inmate in Illinois says this exact scenario happened to her in 2020.
The National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, and Pastor of the Christian Revival Center, spoke from the Soldiers of the Cross Bible Camp, located in Harrison, Arkansas saying this, “This isn’t even a problem that should need addressed in a civilized White, Christian country. Unfortunately though, it does. This should show you just how far we have left this LGBTQ+ agenda spiral out of control in America. I believe that not everyone who winds up in jail or prison is a bad person. Yes, some made a bad decision, and of course, some are just bad people, but not everyone is. Imagine in America a woman ends up in jail for a minor infraction. Not only is she afraid of the experience of being incarcerated, the last thing a female should have to worry about in jail, is being raped! Possibly even being impregnated by someone with the mental condition of thinking homosexuality is acceptable. Or consider this, maybe this wasn’t a transexual at all. Maybe, it was a serial rapist looking for victims? What better place to be than in a cage with trapped females! This whole LGBTQ+ ideology does not belong in America, nor anywhere else on God’s Earth for that matter”.
