It seems that today in America, there’s only one reason acceptable to bow on your knee, and sadly, prayer isn’t it. The Christian Broadcasting Network on Monday, June 27th, published this headline, “Supreme Court Upholds Religious Rights, Vindicates Football Coach Who Was Fired for Praying.”
The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on Monday morning in favor of a Washington state high school football coach who was fired from his job for silently praying on the field after games.
Coach Joe Kennedy has been battling the Bremerton School District since 2015. The district claimed that his prayers violated the Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution. But the high court has now ruled that Bremerton School District actually violated Coach Kennedy’s First Amendment rights.
SCOTUS Blog tweeted, “SCOTUS sides with a high school football coach in a First Amendment case about prayer at the 50-yard-line. In a 6-3 ruling, SCOTUS says the public school district violated the coach’s free speech and free exercise rights when it barred him from praying on the field after games.”
Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, and Pastor of the Christian Revival Center, both centrally located in Harrison, Arkansas, spoke from his Nation Office, Monday evening saying, “Thankfully, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of this football coach, but it isn’t always the case. Today in America, you can only take a knee for one reason without it causing a problem. Sadly, in our White, Christian country, it’s not to pray. You’re hailed as some kind of hero if you’re taking a knee, or raising a fist to protest somekind of ‘Anti-America/Anti-Christian ideology. This type of mentality is what is causing the turmoil in America today. First, God was removed from our public school systems, and within recent years, any type of Christian ideology was removed from within our government buildings, and our courthouses. And because we tolerated that, certain people in power are trying to remove God totally from America! Once that happens, and we allow others to separate us from God, America will no longer be a White, Christian nation. America is in the condition it is today because we, God’s chosen people, the White race, have stiffened our neck’s agianst God’s laws and commands and tolerated God’s removal. If we allow these Satanists to remove God totally, and we realize our mistakes too late, God will turn His back on us, as we are currently doing to him.”
