Democrats still have a problem with law and order. Last week, Fox News published this headline, “Illinois Dem lawmaker pushes bill to legalize attacks on police for people having mental health episode.”
An Illinois lawmaker has introduced a bill that critics say will make it legal for anyone experiencing a mental health episode to attack police officers.
Democratic state Rep. Lisa Davis, an attorney in the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender’s office, introduced House Bill 3458 in February.
Under the terms of the legislation, the bill would “[provide] that it is a defense to aggravated battery when the individual battered is a peace officer and the officer responded to an incident in which the officer interacted with a person whom a reasonable officer could believe was having a mental health episode and the person with whom the officer interacted has a documented mental illness and acted abruptly.”
The bill has picked up two co-sponsors, Reps. Marcus Evans and Kelly Cassidy.
Currently, a person in Illinois can be charged with aggravated battery if they attack “an individual whom the person knows to be a peace officer, community policing volunteer, fireman, private security officer, correctional institution employee, or Department of Human Services employee supervising or controlling sexually dangerous persons or sexually violent persons.”
Second Cop City, a blog that reports on Chicago policing matters, first reported on the bill.
“If this passes, mental illness will be an excuse to attack and beat police officers,” the blog states. “In fact, who wants to bet there will be thousands of people who suddenly have doctor notes that permit them to attack cops?”
“I have people ask me a lot what is the reason I hate black people. These are people that only know about the Ku Klux Klan from watching the Jerry Springer show on daytime TV. The truth is, I don’t hate any other races at all. This shocks most people, and some don’t believe it.” said Thomas Robb the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, based in Harrison, Arkansas. “I do believe that our government should consist of White, Christian leaders, and here is the perfect reason why. Any race will try to stand up for their own people. That’s natural. In this case we have a Democrat fighting to allow her people excuses to murder law enforcement officers. I know, White people struggle with mental illness too, but here’s the statistics, as of 2018 America has a population of over 41,000,000 blacks. That’s around 14% black. In America, of that 14%, they are responsible for over 50% of our crime. That alone is staggering, but of the 41,000,000 blacks in America, the average IQ is 70. That’s borderline retarded. With this in mind, that means that over 50% of the time an officer is going to be dealing with a black criminal, that on average is going to be mentally ill. This is a recipe for disaster. State Reprentative Lisa Davis, who is black, only picked up two co-sponsors, Representatives Marcus Davis, who is also black, and homosexual Representative Kelly Cassidy. My question to you is, ‘How many straight, White, Christian politicians do you think would approve of this?’ You do the math. Expecting our government in America to be straight White, and Christian isn’t racist. It’s how our forefathers set up our government, and they intended it to remain that way, and here is the perfect reason why. America is, an was founded as a White, Christian country, it’s not racist to expect our people to be making the laws for us.”
