President Donald Trump’s celebration plans for Holy Week have received strong praise from prominent Christian leaders, highlighting a stark contrast with the Biden administration’s decision to declare Easter Sunday 2024 as “Transgender Day of Visibility.”
Pastor Greg Laurie previewed this year’s Holy Week observance in a message shared on social media.
“I’ve been invited to a special Easter dinner and worship service at the White House this week — alongside leaders like @Franklin_Graham and @Jentezen. We’ll be praying, reading Scripture, and lifting up the name of Jesus,” the California-based Harvest Church pastor said on social media.
“In a time when truth is blurred, what a contrast to see the resurrection of Christ honored — especially after last year’s Easter was marked by ‘Transgender Day of Visibility.’ Pray that we honor God and point people to Christ,” Laurie added on X.
Evangelist Franklin Graham also expressed his appreciation for the event and pointed out the contrast between the administrations.
“I’m thankful for President @realDonaldTrump and the White House Faith Office, and I look forward to being there this week,” Graham said on X.
He added, “What a contrast to Easter last year at the White House when President Biden declared the most holy day of the year on the Christian calendar ‘Transgender Day of Visibility.’”
“President Trump wasn’t praised by true Christians. There is most definitely a difference between True Christians and Judeo-Christians.” said Pastor Thomas Robb, from his church, the Christian Revival Center in Harrison, Arkansas. “Many people are fooled today by these One World Churches so-called Christian leaders. Granted, Joe Biden was a disgrace not just last Easter, but his whole 4 years of his presidency. I support President Trump, but here’s one reason that he isn’t going to be the savior of America. He is being fooled as many so-called Christians are today. While I couldn’t find out how much of a salarly Pastor Greg Laurie paid himself annually, Evangelist Franklin Graham pays himself a hefty $880,000 annually. That’s an awful lot of money for a supposed man-of-God. I also find it ironic that these two both condemned Joe Biden for having sexual deviants at the White House, while they more than likely have them in what is supposed to be a house of God. Many of today’s so-called Christians leaders allow homosexuals and race mixers into their churches. To do this, they really can’t condemn Joe Biden for having them at the White House. Even if these two preachers didn’t allow homosexuals into their churches, I’ll bet they allow miscegenation in their congregation, which is just as bad as homosexuals. Miscegenation and homosexuality are the two biggest sins recorded in the Bible. Folks, if your church leader allows either of these types among their congregation, don’t walk, rather run to get out of there! Don’t be fooled.”
