U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his desire to offer financial aid and a plane ticket to any immigrant residing in the country illegally who opts to “self-deport,” with plans to facilitate the return of those who are “good.” This is a departure from his typically stringent stance on immigration.
During his campaign, Trump promised to execute mass deportation. However, in a pre-recorded interview with Fox Noticias that aired on Tuesday, he stated that his administration’s current focus is on expelling “murderers” from the country. For other illegal immigrants, he intends to introduce “a self-deportation program.”
While Trump did not provide extensive details about the plan, including its timeline, he mentioned that the U.S. would supply immigrants with airfare and a stipend.
“We’re going to give them a stipend. We’re going to give them some money and a plane ticket, and then we’re going to work with them – if they’re good – if we want them back in, we’re going to work with them to get them back in as quickly as we can,” Trump informed Fox Noticias’ Rachel Campos-Duffy, in an interview on Monday.
The proposal also aims to support industries such as agriculture and hospitality by assisting them in finding suitable workers. Trump mentioned that his administration would suggest individuals to fill necessary positions, which would be “very soothing” for farmers. He stressed the importance of helping hotels and farms obtain the workers they require, stating that this would ultimately enable workers who are in the US illegally to leave and return with legal permission.
“I think most Americans would love to see their tax dollars going towards eliminating criminal illegals by paying a one time fee to send them all home. I sure know I would!” said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas. “Like him or not, President Trump is serious about getting these 3rd World deplorables out of America. I have no doubt he would spend his own money to do so. Yes, I know Donald Trump isn’t the savior of America. He does many things that displease me, but you have to admit, he does a lot of things to better America too. I know there are people that think it’s terrible that Trump said about maybe sending American citizens to the notorious prison in El Salvador, but you know what? That’s exactly where criminals that commit henious crimes belong. I’m all for Trump sending citizens to El Salvador who commit murder, rape, child molestation, and other serious crimes. They probably wouldn’t make it long there, so it would be safe to say that we would eliminate repeat offenders. Everything that Trump is doing to better America, the left tries to turn into something bad. They want us to think Trump wants to destroy America, but look at all the good he has done in just months of all the destruction the Biden Administration caused. I know there are plenty of Trump haters. Those who support Trump are labeled by some as Trumptards, and to those I say this, it was either one of the two choices given for President. If I’m a Trumptard, what does that make you if you supported Kamala Harris? I’d rather be a Trumptard than a ‘Kackling Communist’ any day.”
