Back in October of 2019, The Blaze ran a story about a divorced couple in Texas, Jeffery Younger and Anne Georgulas, in which Georgulas was given sole conservatorship and was giving her son James puberty blocking hormones in order to transition James into a female.
Jeffrey Younger disagreed because of religious and ethical objections to the procedure, as well as saying his son showed no signs of wanting to be a girl when given the choice.
In October 2019, Judge Kim Cooks overruled the initial verdict and ordered Georgulas and Younger would have 50/50 conservatorship of 7 year old James — meaning both parents would have to consent to any medical treatment.
Georgulas’ attorney insisted on getting another judge to hear the case, and on this past Wednesday, January 29th, Judge Mary Brown affirmed the courts previous decision granting Jeffrey Younger joint conservatorship.
An attorney for Georgulas vowed yet again to challenge this ruling.
