On Wednesday March 18th, the headline from Raw Story read, “Trump uable to resist racist remark while reassuring Americans cash is coming.”
President Donald Trump tried to reassure anxious Americans that financial assistance would be coming, but he couldn’t help slipping some casual racism into his statement.
The president promised financial payouts to workers who lost their jobs or ability to work during the coronavirus quarantine, and then blamed the outbreak on China–where the virus was first detected in late 2019.
Thomas Robb, National Director of the Knights Party based in Harrison Arkansas said, “What is racist about stating the true facts? President Trump is hated by the liberal left so much that even when he tries to do good for America’s tax paying citizens, he’s attacked and called racist.”
Robb added, “President Donald Trump is facing what every proud, white American citizen faces. If you’re white, proud of your heritage, your culture, and your good Christian character, you’re labeled a racist.The liberal left is upset because this money is going to working class, tax paying citizens, and let’s face it, that means a majority of white people, not the lefts beloved illegal immigrants.”
