American cities “have abdicated their responsibility in fighting crime,” said Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, who is a Democratic donor.
“I must say, in my view at the local, state and federal level, these governments across the country and leaders, mayors and governors, city councils have abdicated their responsibility in fighting crime and addressing mental health,” Schultz said in a video posted on Twitter.
Earlier in the week, Starbucks announced store closures in four Democrat-run states and the District of Columbia.
The coffee retailer will close permanently six stores in Seattle, Washington, and six more in the Los Angeles, California, region. Two stores will shutter in Portland, Oregon, and one store each in Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
The National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, based in Harrison, Arkansas, Thomas Robb, said this, “A few years ago, Starbucks closed stores nationwide to educate their employees how to be more minority friendly. It started over a couple black guys loitering in their establishment, and they were asked to leave. Of course, this ignited ‘systemic racism’ allegations against Starbucks, and in turn, Starbucks buckled under their own ‘no loitering’ policy. Then, a few weeks later, Starbucks installed ‘needle’ depositories in their restrooms. So, Starbucks went full ‘woke’ in all their stores. In essence, Starbucks invited non-whites to ‘hang out’ in their establishments, and junkies as well. They decided to cater to the minority of America’s population, like so many business have in America. It’s not rocket science to figure out that once you push out your majority of White paying customers, you’re business is going to go under. Starbucks’ CEO has nobody to blame but himself. As the many other businesses in America that are struggling to stay afloat because they thought going ‘woke’ was such a great idea.”
