So far from God’s word. On Monday May 6th., The Washington Times ran this headline, “Powerless church tells us what we want to hear rather than what we need to hear.”

There are many reasons for the modern church’s loss of its prophetic voice, politics being just one of them. As in ancient times, trying to embrace what the rest of the world is doing has diminished the power of the church to address what used to be called “sinful behavior.”
The latest but surely not the last example is what the United Methodist Church did last week at their convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. Delegates voted 523 to 161 to replace the definition of marriage as exclusively between a man and a woman and will now allow gay Methodist ministers to be ordained and perform same-sex marriages. They dropped language that said homosexual practice “is incompatible with Christian teaching.” African delegates voted against the change. What do they know that others have forgotten?
Marriage between a man and a woman is compatible with Christian teaching. The majority of delegates should read and obey the Scriptures that John Wesley, the founder of their denomination, preached without compromise.
“Today’s One-World churches are so far off from the true word God that it’s sickening” said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, and Pastor at the Christian Revival Center, both located centrally in Harrison, Arkansas. “The two biggest sins recorded in the Bible are homosexuality and miscegenation. Both clearly a sin in God’s eyes. First of all, the Bible describes the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah from their lust of homosexuality. And the story of Noah and his family being spared from the flood because they hadn’t tainted their bloodline with the non-whites. How much simpler can this be said? It’s in the Bible for all to read! I’m sure a lot of church leaders if taken aside and asked in private if homosexuality is a sin, the would admit that it was. But if asked about race-mixing, most were never taught the true meaning of Noah and his family, and why they were spared. There are so many church leaders out there misguiding their congregations. You would have to be a fool to think that all of the sudden God changed his mind about homosexuality and miscegenation. It’s the homosexuals twisting their version that God changed his mind. The truth is, God can not change, nor can He lie. Be very careful what you think is God’s true words.”
