Seems like a lot, until you see more statistics. On Wednesday November 20. 2024 The Washington Times ran this headline, “White House embraces Transgender Day of Remembrance despite voter skepticism on gender-identity push.”
Championing transgender rights may not have done Democrats any favors in the election, but the Biden administration still pulled out the stops for Transgender Day of Remembrance.
“Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we mourn the transgender Americans whose lives were taken this year in horrific acts of violence,” said President Biden in a Wednesday statement. “There should be no place for hate in America — and yet too many transgender Americans, including young people, are cruelly targeted and face harassment simply for being themselves. It’s wrong.”
Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary Rachel Levine, the first Senate-confirmed transgender official in U.S. history, said that the administration “stands firmly with all transgender people.”
“When the whole story is told, it becomes a very minute number.”, said Thomas Robb, the National Director of the Knights Party of the Ku Klux Klan, centrally based in Harrison, Arkansas. “In the United States, 5.5% of the population identify as homosexual. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but it equals 13.9 million people. In 2023, there were 7,289 White people murdered in the United States. Mainstream Media doesn’t give you the whole picture. 32 out of 7, 289 homosexuals murdered yearly is a very small number. Also, figure how many of those murders were not related to hate crimes, 32 people is a very minute amount. Also, if you add teen suicides to this number, which are 4 times more likely for homosexual teens over straight teens, and again, you see that this also is a very minute amount of our population. Our government, along with Mainstream Media like to ‘puff-up’ these numbers to look like homosexuals are targeted in America.”
